Hi, my name is Sophie and I am 32 years old. I'm originally from Worthing in West Sussex, but now based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Here's just a little background about me and my photography...

Photography has always been a passion of mine  and I remember like it was yesterday the feeling I had when I received my first camera as a Christmas present many years ago. You probably wouldn't see me without my camera, I would snap anything and everything! I have been lucky to come from a big family, with 5 other siblings and now 18 nieces and nephews - a lot I know! My nieces and nephews have always been my inspiration when it comes to taking photos and I have loved capturing them at different stages of their lives over the years.

After struggling with a painful back injury and undergoing spinal surgery in January 2015, during my rehabilitation period I needed something to focus on and felt it was time to put my photography first and this was when Sophie Rebecca Photography was established! Later in the year, I decided I wanted to develop my skills further and learn about the photography industry so I applied for university and completed a 3 year photography degree at the University of Portsmouth. Little did I know I'd stay on for an extra year to complete a Digital Marketing Masters!

Whilst I currently work full time as a Creative Lead, I'm very fortunate to be able to do my own photography on the side. With my mobile home studio I'm able to be extremely flexible with sessions to cater for all. I'm also very happy to shoot outside at an agreed and safe location. I carry out every session in a professional and respectable way and always ensure the safety of my clients. I want my clients to feel comfortable at all times and have a happy experience. My ultimate aim it to capture precious images that can last a lifetime.
